Day 1
 

After our safe arrival, we relaxed with a buffet meal, and a little fun at the ESPN Zone before settling down in our hotel. Re-charged from a night of sleep, we headed straight for Capitol Hill to learn more about the three branches of government, and see the landmarks that house these institutions. After a quick lunch (and a little shopping) we toured prestigious Georgetown University. It was great to get an idea of what our higher education dreams might look like in the next few years. To finish the day, we watched the Washington Nationals lose to the Pittsburgh Pirates in baseball. Not a bad start to a wonderful week!
