After School Activities

Primary After School Activities (ASA) Programme

The Primary ASA programme is designed to enrich the learning of students outside of the classroom. Pupils have the opportunity to utilise the skills and learning habits taught in the classroom and use these to explore, practice and master new activities that may not be fully covered during the school day. The overall aim of the After School Activities is to give pupils the opportunity to participate in new and exciting pursuits offered by our staff and specialist coaches. Teachers offer clubs based on their passions and the experiences they have had from outside of school. They aim to pass on their skills and enthusiasm to the students.

Throughout year we aim to have over eighty clubs offered and encourage all of our students from Years 2 to 6 to participate in one activity each term. Over 450 students participating in some kind of activity offered as an ASA each term. The range of clubs offered includes Music, Sports, Creative Arts, Crafts, ICT, Cookery, Languages …and so much more!
